Digital Photography and Workflow: Winter in Yellowstone

One challenge of digital photography is being able to quickly process and keep track of your images. This intensive class is for intermediate to advanced photographers who want to take their field and computer skills to the next level. Explore the endless wonders of Yellowstone while you practice advanced composition and digital techniques to create the best digital negative. Indoors, learn to confidently optimize those images and put metadata, keywording, and custom templates to work. Instructor Cindy Goeddel is a fine-art photographer and digital workflow expert. Tom Murphy will join this class for one day. Required equipment: Digital SLR camera capable of capturing in RAW; laptop computer with at least 2GB RAM; current version of Adobe Lightroom; external hard drive. Snowshoes recommended.
 
Lodging at the Lamar Valley Buffalo Ranch is recommended for this course. You can book your cabin when you register.
 
Activity Level:  Hikes on snow-packed trails, or snowshoe or ski trips, up to 3 miles per day with climbs up to 250 feet.
